in the form of a book, that is...

I am also making yogurt - both goat's milk and regular yogurt (labneh). I decided to go strictly vegetarian in my presentation for Garde Manger. Vegetable terrines, pates, hors d'oeuvres, sandwich and salad, etc... It has been fun thinking outside the box on this and doing something a little different from the other students. I will share pics of it all when I am done on Thursday. I will put up recipes to some of them, too.
This weekend I am also making a birthday cake for my beloved!!! German chocolate I hope - if not it will be devil's food (which he calls angel food). LOL See ya next week...
Have you ever seen this blog? http://kitchen-parade-veggieventure.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteWhen I need vegetable inspiration I always go there.
Your presentation sounds exciting, can't wait to see it.
On a side and very unfood related note. Have you ever heard Leeland? If not, definetely a check out. They are so amazing, the singer is only 17, but he is so talented(voice and songwriting). Very mature sounding. I finally got my Dad to listen to them, almost that British-pop U2 sound, but very uplifting. www.leelandonline.com or you can hear them on myspace. Can't take the credit, my worship leader husband finds all the music and I just follow, lol.
