I am still here...

I am finally finished with the semester and had surgery and am home now recovering. There is not a whole lot of holiday baking and cooking going on with us this year. My mom is here filling in as she can for meals and Dan is working on some things, too. He got a bee in his bonnet about making chicken noodle soup today. I felt his forehead for fever and asked what had gotten into him. His response was... "I just like soup." He cracks me up. I did get a new refrigerator today. It was delivered this morning. My parents bought it as a Christmas present for us and we LOVE it. Wanta see???

Organized Kitchen

Do you need help organizing your kitchen? This week is about organizing that space where your family spends time eating, doing homework, chatting and having coffee, and in our home we actually do all of our school there - the kitchen. We have been in a constant state of remodel in our home for the past 4 years. Our kitchen is getting work done as we can afford it but I can still choose to clean it out and make it as functional as possible in the meantime. So I am taking the challenge to organize my home in 6 weeks and this next week is all about that kitchen space... :D
